Pierre Lemonde
President and CEO

Pierre Lemonde is a lawyer who has more than 20 years of experience in the management of entities involved in international matters and in the organization of conferences, workshops and seminars on global topics. He has also been involved for more than ten years in the editing of world economics publications and the counselling of private companies and public/parapublic bodies on management issues, strategic planning and international law. He has most notably been active as International Vice-President of Manufacturers and Exporters of Quebec (MEQ); President and Editor of the international magazine World Economic Affairs; Managing Director of Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche International; and Vice-President of the International Economic Law Society of Canada.

Mr. Lemonde is a graduate in law from the Université de Montréal (LLB); in international administration from the École nationale d’administration publique (Graduate Diploma); in human resources management from McGill University (Certificate); in psychology from the Université de Montréal (B.Sc., M.Ps.); and in psychoanalysis from the Université de Paris (Diploma of Advanced Studies).

Mr. Lemonde is a member of the Barreau du Québec (Bar of the Province of Quebec). He is a current Board member of the Montreal Millennium Summit; the Raoul Dandurand Chair of Strategic and Diplomatic Studies at UQAM; and the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee in New York. He has also served on the Board of Directors of many organizations including the World Trade Centre of Montreal; the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (MCFR); the Conseil québécois pour l’Amérique Latine (Quebec Council for Latin America); and the International Economic Law Society of Canada.

Alexandre Perron
Business Developement Director

Alexandre Perron focuses on business development since the beginning of his career. He has worked 3 years as business development manager for the LTI Group to find new business opportunities outside Quebec. He also completed contracts in Davos (World Economic Forum) in Barcelona (Trade Missions Inc.), as well as New York in sales and marketing for the controlled-circulation magazine Institutional Investor.

Alexander holds a Masters in International Relations from the Hautes Études Internationales at Université Laval and a BBA in Business Administration (International Business) from Bishop's University. He has also completed several courses at Deakin University (Australia).

Julie Dubé
Administrative Director

Julie Dubé has worked as coordinator for exportation at P&O Nedlloyd, one of the most important maritime carriers company in the world. As such, she was in charge of the maritime services for the Middle East, Australia and New-Zealand. Notably, she produced an official documentation necessary for the expedition of merchandise and she also served as intermediary between clients and P&O over-sea agents.

Julie Dubé as worked as an administrative assistant for Agnico-Eagle. She was in charge of compatibility and the organization of special event. She’s been part of the MCFR team since May 2006 and is the administrative director since January 2007.

Julie Dubé holds of a master degree in International Studies from the University of Montreal. She is also a graduate from the HEC Montreal in International Business and Marketing, and also holds a diploma in Hispanic Studies (University of Montreal).

Dominique Boisvert
Director, Communications and Information Technology
Dominique Boisvert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Language Science from UQAM in 2001. After his studies in linguistics, he turned to graphic design and multimedia technologies and got involved in the development of several commercial and educational websites.

He worked as a freelance web developer for several organizations and professors including Montreal Danse and Dave Holmes before joining the MCFR team in January 2007.

Léa Berlinguet
Event Coordinator

Lea Berlinguet holds a BBA from the École des Hautes Etudes Commerciales of Montreal (HEC) specialized in economics and international affairs. During her studies, she was sales advisor at Éditions Infopresse which publishes a wide range of products for the communications and graphic fields and organizes day-conferences which aim to promote exchange, reflection and sharing of information between communications professionals on specific topics.

Lea Berlinguet is on the board of directors of the Jacques-Bouchard Foundation, which aims to improve access to palliative care at home, and is the website’s coordinator of this foundation since its creation in 2007 and participates in the organization of annual fundraising.  As part of his duties, she has worked with advertising agencies like Bos and Cossette.

She is event coordinator at MCFR since May 2010.
